At HFTD, our commitment lies in delivering a specialised and in-depth acting experience. We intentionally refrain from including singing and dancing to ensure our students receive a concentrated and authentic education in the art and craft of straight acting. Unlike programs that allocate only an hour to acting amidst other activities, we offer a refreshing alternative, allowing our members to immerse themselves deeply in screen and theatre acting, industry insights, and skill development without compromise. We really are here for the DRAMA!

At HFTD, we prioritise our students' best interests. Instead of having an in-house agency, we've established valuable relationships with leading external agencies. This means we have no financial stake in these partnerships, allowing us to focus solely on placing our students with the very best agencies that align with their unique talents and career goals. Our commitment is to guide you toward opportunities that genuinely benefit your acting journey, rather than treating agency placement as a sales tactic.

Though we would love for students to be part of the HFTD family forever, we acknowledge that every journey has its own finish line. In the event that you would like to end your membership we have a 4 week cancellation policy, from the day you give your written notice via Email or Text. Your direct debit will be stopped after these 4 weeks (however your child is still welcome to attend the classes for 4 weeks).

Minis simply need to bring a water bottle to stay hydrated during the class. For Juniors and Pros, we recommend bringing a snack for a quick energy boost during the session, as they are longer sessions than Minis. Additionally, Pros are asked to bring a notebook and pen for jotting down notes. It's essential for all groups to bring any provided scripts to every session, as they will only be distributed once.

We have a dynamic program that accommodates both the younger ones aged 7 and challenges those aged 11, ensuring a smooth transition for the older ones into our Pros group when they are ready. Additionally, our approach helps participants move up from Minis, providing a gradual and supportive path as they ease into the next stage of their acting journey.

Yes, we have a specially designed uniform to foster a sense of belonging and unity among our Students. The uniform includes a HFTD hoodie and/or T-shirt, available for purchase directly from us. It adds an exciting touch to their experience and helps create a positive and inclusive atmosphere in every class. We have all sizes available from 3-4 to Adults Large.

Absolutely. All our teachers at HFTD are highly experienced professionals in the performing arts, bringing a wealth of expertise to the classes. Additionally, each teacher undergoes rigorous Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checks to ensure a safe and secure environment for all our students.

At HFTD, we are committed to inclusivity. We work closely with parents and guardians to understand the unique needs of each child. Our experienced team ensures that classes are adapted to provide a supportive and enjoyable experience for children with special needs, fostering their creativity and self-expression.
